YUM2 (You understand me too) Focus Group

This workshop is open to families effected by substance use and their loved ones, to help them to :
• Understand the impact drug/alcohol has on both the family member/concerned other and service user
• Explore/recognise each other’s thoughts feelings
• Reflect and share their own previous/current levels of life experience and areas for development
• Explore supportive and unsupportive behaviours/lifestyles/choices
• Identify principles of self identity, explore trust, communication, legacies and acceptance of personal responsibility
• Develop confidence, communication and inter-personal skills within family dynamics and explore rebuilding or maintaining positive
relationships and addressing ways forward.
• Embrace and unite in joint recovery
